New bath time treat.

Pearl likes to have her own wash cloth at bath time lately. One for
Mommy and one for her! Only, Mommy doesn't nosh on hers.

The Prospect Park Pusher

It's such a nice day out today so I decided to take Pearl for a run around Prospect Park. Any of you who are familiar with the park know that there is a hill about 3/4 of the way around the loop. I always have trouble making it all the way up without slowing down, but today something really sweet happened.

I had been running with Pearl in the jog stroller and things were going well, but I was starting to get tired. I made it about a third of the way up the hill but then I lost steam fast. I just got too tired to keep running and pushing Pearl so I admitted defeat and slowed down to a walk. Out of nowhere, this other runner ran up beside me and started pushing the stroller with me! At first I panicked and thought he was going to steal Pearl, but he said, "Come on! You can do it! Let's make it up this hill!" So we each had a hand on the stroller while he pushed and cheered me on as we ran all the way up the hill! When we got to the top he wished me luck and then kept running ahead. All I could do was call out "THANK YOU!" in between tired breaths.

It's funny. Sometimes I get so frustrated with this city but then out of the blue something will happen that will make me love it again.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Love,
Jill
xoxo

PS - I can't put up a post without a picture of my peanut so here's one of Pearl in her preppy little outfit. So cute!
