My Little Chatterbox

Like Morgan said, Pearl has certainly found her voice! She babbles to herself while she's in her crib and "chit chats" with us all day long. She's really sounding like a little girl now and her laugh is music to our ears.

We had such a great anniversary weekend. Morgan and I stayed two nights in Albany while Mom and Dad babysat. It was hard being away from Pearl overnight for the first time, but it was a much-needed break so we let ourselves relax and just enjoy a nice weekend together. I think she got cuter in the 48 hours we were gone! Mom and Dad did a wonderful job taking care of her (they even kept her on her nap schedule!) so we wanted to make sure we thanked them again.

Now that we're back, here's a cute picture of Pearl staring at her mobile.

Thrilled

Were back home this week and Pearl seems happy as can be. She's in her
crib right now and it sounds like a baby seal is watching a magic
show! Oh! What wonderful noises she makes. It going to be hard going
to work after such a nice break.

Everyone was telling us how fast she would grow but nothing really
prepares you for it. She just turned three months old (13 weeks) and
she's already out grown some clothes. She's learned how to roll from
her back to her front and sometimes she seems to prefer to sleep on
her side or stomach.

I really thank God each night for sending us such a happy baby and for
having her greet me with an enormous smile each morning.

Mommy and Daddy are back!

I had a great time with gramma and poppa jay but I'm so happy mommy
and daddy are back from their anniversary trip.
