My First Mother's Day!

What a great weekend! I wasn’t expecting anything, but was surprised by cards, flowers and gifts for my first Mother’s Day (I guess Mother-To-Be Day would be more accurate). Morgan not only gave me a gorgeous diaper bag but he also finished making shelves for the baby’s clothes and put up her entire book collection on the wall. The “nursery” is really coming along - all we need now is the baby.

After we were done with our chores we got to show off all our new baby gear to our friends Allison and Geoffe and then we barbecued in the backyard (it was a little too chilly for outdoor dining, but we toughed it out). It was such a great day and I hope all my future Mother’s Days are that special.

This morning we had another doctor’s appointment. Everything is going well and the baby is still in the right position. Dr. Kim says I could go into labor at any time in the next five weeks, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this little girl isn’t going to come a minute early (Mom was late with me, Tate and Jordan and I’ll probably follow suit).

So now we wait…
