The Big Ultrasound...

Last Thursday we had our 20-week ultrasound. What a great experience! We not only got to see our baby’s little feet, hands, arms, legs and belly, but also his or her brain, heart, kidneys and spine! Not that I would have had any idea what I was looking at, but the technician was very nice about explaining everything we were seeing. It was such a thrill to see our little muchkin again and get a glimpse of what’s going on in there.

Afterwards we spoke to the doctor and she said everything is going well so far. Our baby weighs about 12 ounces now and everything is right on schedule. It’s crazy to think that I can feel movements when he or she is so small. I can only imagine what it’s going to feel like when this little one weighs five or six pounds!
